1984, 1987, Google
Orwell's 1984, which was in the 80s, the Mahnschrift against the totalitarian police state. The 1987 saw many standing at the door, when this country held a large-scale census. A friend of the then fought really the hard way - even years later he was again court dates for his "right to silence." Incidentally motivated him this story, in addition to various violent activities in autonomous counties. The aim was only a few silly personal information.
Today, Google is planning a lot worse things - they want a complete database with all personal information about all users - ideally, perhaps the entire Weltbevökerung. Now is not a malicious insinuation, but says Google CEO Eric Schmidt, quite frankly in the press the link (would have been more helpful, Henry. But Google helps ...
).
A cry I have not yet heard. But maybe yes, Alexander Endl right: "There is no turning back."
