VW Bus - the great-Oldie's still there
The father of a Spezl then had such a "VW bus" (T2), it was a company van with no seats. Now and then he picked us up from school in order. We were always four or five of us, and because on the front seat was only room for three, the rest sit in the rear cargo area. But that was no problem because the old VW buses were well known, this level in the hold, was hidden under the rear of the engine. And the fine was suitable as a bench. Today, every / r less sensible mother / father at the sight of such a transportation of children would get a screaming fit. For us it was great fun, and rear seat belts was considered at that time anyway even for a rather absurd idea.
One does not want to believe, but this classic, coined in the 70s the street scene, there's still! VW Brazil produces the model with the type Kombi/T2c today in virtually unchanged form, and thanks to some shrewd businessmen like those of Brasilienbus.de could us this brand new vintage, perhaps meet again more times on our roads.
